If you have concerns about stains or marks, it is advised to use Osmo Polyx-Oil 3062 Clear Matt wood protector (which is recommended by Habufa). This will protect your wood but be advised that it may also change the finish, possibly darkening it slightly. Please follow any protector instructions very carefully, testing it on a very small area first or take advice from a french polisher before proceeding.
